So to be eligible for a PGWP, you need to maintain a full time student status. And you do that by taking a minimum of 3 courses (9 credits) every semester.

My question now is, is it important what type of courses you take? Now that we have this pandemic, a lot of my classes have moved online. I have taken 3 courses, however one of them is slightly different. In the other courses, we meet online for classes every week. However in one of the courses, we don't meet online. Instead we get coursework to do through our college website. As of now they haven't said anything about meeting online.

Is this something to worry about? My student account says that all courses have 3 credits, so I have a total of 9 credits. So is that all that is needed? Does it make a difference what type of course you take in a semester?

What if a student takes 2 mandatory courses and 1 elective course. Does he/she still count as a full time student?

Normally the majority of your courses cant be online, however due to the pandemic this rule has been removed, studying online in any shape will not affect PGWP according to IRCC.

I see. But what if this course would have otherwise been online if the pandemic was not there? Will it still count as a course now that everything else has moved online too? I honestly don't know whether its inherently online or not. The only thing I know is that on our college website, the other two courses are showing up slots on the weekly timetable. But this course is not showing any slots. It's just saying that coursework will be delivered online. However the course contains 3 credits like the other courses.

Edit: Also this particular course has only lecture hours per week but no lab hours. Whereas the other 2 courses have lecture + lab hours.
