In my activity report, what do I choose

I had a gap after school and pre-University.

I chose 'Unemployed'..but what do I say for 'Please provide the name of the company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate.'

It wont let me leave this blank

I entered "Not Applicable" for such period.

I think you can just select your country of residence at that point.... if I remember it correctly....
