Hello, I wanted to know that I helped my fiance's in-lae get a super visa. It was approved however, we are no longer together, will this effect me in any way.

How do I remove my name from this situation, should I contact CIC and notify them? I do not want to be involved in anyway with their travel and visa status, but do not want to be responsible for them. What should I do,

Once the visa is approved, there's no way to 'remove' your name.

You can inform IRCC that you are no longer the super visa host i.e. you are not financially responsible for her stay, her medical insurance coverage, etc.

However, if your fiance is able to prove that he meets LICO (without you as a co-signer) then the super visa would continue to remain valid even if you cancel your financial sponsorship

Oh okay, that makes more sense. Thank you. I am not trying to be vindictive or anything but as a single mother, working or not, I wont be able to financially support them. Whether or not they can keep the super visa is okay with me as long as I am not 'finanvially responsible' for them or

Will call CIC and update tread to reflect any new knowledge or information.

Another reason why you would want to inform IRCC that you are cancelling your sponsorship/financial support is because your in-laws would otherwise continue to be included in your LICO calculations for any future super visa/PGP PR applications that you submit
