In how many days medical to be completed???

Hi All,

If medical and passport request intimate by chc than in how many days medical to be completed and what if somebody for some reason didt undergo medical will chc close file or can give extension to do medical....
Plz advice.....

Hi,

I think CHC gives 60 days for the medical to be completed and send to them, if anyone cant do the medical say because of the pregnancy they one has to inform CHC about it and they will ask you to do the medicals after the baby is born and add it to your application. But there has to be some solid explanation of why you cant do medicals.

If you tell the reason why you cannot do the medicals then seniors in the forum will be able to guide more accurately and tell you what you exactly need to do.

actually my cousin is in Merchant Navy and he work on board ship his wife is principle applicant and already received 2nd aor frm new delhi on may 1st ..problem is my cousin have to join ship for 3 months and in between medical comes than what to do if my cousin not able to sign off from ship....
pls advice

Normally they give around 60 days time for the medicals, so if your cousin is joining the ship now hopefully he will be back before the medicals are requested or before the medical time is expired. But they can explain this to CHC and ask them to postponed the medicals which i think should not be a problem for CHC as your cousin have a solid reason.

It's all individual some people given 45 days, some 60, some 90(!).
