in generic application form ,there is a question "during the last 5 years hav. you lived in any other country."

i have lived in USA for four years but that is without any status(illegally) so what should i mention.?

you cannot ignore this colum if you ignore here but you have to define it in Schedule A in Personall History and living address........and when you will show it they will ask from you on later stage for police certificates from FBI and you must have to provide it............
