So I just got off the phone with the CBSA and I was asking about the b4 & b4A forms. I was informed, that since the work permit is for 2 years, I don't need to bring those, but simply an itemized list for goods accompanying and goods to follow, along with the items values. I was told the officer will ask for a deposit at the border for the duties & taxes (13% of the total value), but I will get it refunded when I leave or if I get my PR. How did I miss this in all my research & have others also been surprised? I didn't budget for this in my moving expenses.
