hi,

I an working in one software company in Ontario on contract which i got from one employment agency located in Ontario. After 1 year 2 months on 9 sept i had changed the employment agency but still working for same software company , New employment agency is in Montreal they haven't mentioned in job letter that i am working on site for their client in Ontario and I applied for PR ON 20 oct I hope not vo think when I applied for PR that time I was living in Montreal but under address section I have put current Ontario address. Will this thing cause any problem ? .

I don't think so mate! CEC application is all about your past experience not current.

Worse comes to worst they will contact you to make sure you're not planning to settle in Quebec. And to be honest I don't think this will happen. You're good to go mate!

Best of luck,

Is there a way to tell CIC I am working and living in Ontario although my company is in Monteral. I have sent my application in Oct but did not attached finger prints which I suppose to get it done from Toronto police station. I am going send my finger prints next week . Will it proves that I am living in Ontario

you can send copies of your paystubs if they have ontario address.. plus u can also send your T4 copy again which should also have your address.. T4 should hv your address and your contrator address too.. in addition you can show copy of your ontartio health card if u hv it..

its a common scenario so nothing to worry about..

I have Ontario Healthcard , pay stubs but I think I will get T4 next year in Feb but I am expecting AOR in Jan 2014, will that cause any problem to get AOR ? and Do i need to send all that stuff only when they will ask for or send as soon as possible. I am sending my Canadian PCC next week .

You can write CIC a letter stating your confusoin and provide them proof of your address by attaching copies of your health card and driving license... in addition, you can even show your automobile insurance coverage (If any) which should also have your ontario address.. i dont think it should create any issues in your case.

You are good to go PR4CAN.. if you have employement letter , you will receive AOR.. you can write cover letter stating that u will send t4 and NOA later....

You do NOT send fingerprints to CIC. Why do you think you need this?

1) You can ask your agency to add that information to your letter of employment.
2) You can write a letter of explanation, that you work for an employment agency based in Montreal for a client based in Ontario.
3) You can get a letter from the client.
4) Your T4 will also show province of employment - send that when you get it.

Don't send anything until you get your AOR/File number, and then you will send it to Ottawa, not Sydney.

You don't need a Canadian PCC.

thanks guys Do i need to send finger prints

Well, that is not anywhere in the instruction guide or document checklist, so NO. where did you get that idea?

But you do realize that you need a PCC from every country (EXCEPT Canada) that you've lived in for at least 6 months since the age of 18.... and to apply for those PCCs you might need to get fingerprints done...
