Did any one from gta or toronto apply for citizenship in March 18 and got it received in March 30


And now is in process ?


Could please anyone kindly express their timeline ?

I applied late March (one week after you) and I'm still showing as received as well. I hope that's normal for Toronto/GTA applicants.

Applications in general from GTA has been stalled or very slow as of January 2015. If you go to the Jan and Feb threads and check the spreadsheets you can see Toronto applications a majority are sitting in Received compared to applicants from the western provinces. No one knows why that is the case maybe they are slowing it down to clear backlog or people have started to take holidays so the process is slowing down. I applied Feb 2nd , got AoR on Mar 11th it is now about 2 months and 1 week and my ECAS is still 'Received' I did order my ATIP two months in a row so far and each ATIP report just shows that nothing has been started yet on my file.

So in short all we can do is enjoy the summer and check in Fall

I did become a PR in 2012 but I have been in Canada since 2005 came here as a student completed my 4 year degree and then work as per residence calculator yep I applied with 1195 days. 8) 8)

You apply after 1095 days some sort of risk if they find any day absence etc.

You may wait for few days was better any how now you have applied and you

are young educated and working hopefully you will go through very fast..

after all if you work you will pay taxes as well.... so do not worry
