Hi there,

My IEC open work permit expires in March 2021.

4 months ago I submitted an inland spousal sponsorship PR application.
Also, at the same time, an open work permit application.

Does this qualify for "implied status"?

how do I prove it?

Or... how do I switch to visitor status? (considering covid)

I read about a bridging work permit. Is this a specific type of work permit or essentially what I have applied for with my PR.
One which serves its purpose while they assess my PR

I am in Canada. Still working. Hope to remain here in some capacity untill my PR has been decided.

Any advice / experiences appreciated!

Thank you

Ah good. Thank you.

Thought my current one?
Or my application for one?

How do I prove implied status.
Is there anything I need to do?

I am just worried that once my IEC permit expires... I will be breaking rules.

Any further advice appreciated.

Yes you have implied status through your OWP.
