Implied status/Temporary Resident Status

Hi,

I am currently on a work permit and my work permit will be expiring shortly, however I have applied for my new work permit,if my new work permit is issued after my work permit expires, during the gap between both the permits would be on a implied status, so can the days during the implied status be included in the 2 year work experience, since I am legally allowed to work during an implied status.Thanks

Yes, it is counted. You will have to support the documentation with T4's, Pay Stubs, Employer Letter and other documents as required.

Just keep in mind you cannot leave the country while you are on implied status (you lose the implied status if you leave.)
