Me and my husband arrived to Canada with a ICE and my husband company wanted to apply for an LMIA, so we started the process and we sent our work permit for him and my open work permit application as spouse before our ICE expired. So now we are supposed un implied status until a decision is made by immigration. We know now we are not going to get the LMIA on time, so our main concern is getting rejected for not having the LMIA because than means the implied status wouldn’t be granted as then we will have 90days of restoration status since our first visa expired and my husband is too close to pass that period of time and we don’t know what to do. Do they usually denied or they rejected for not having the LMIA? Could we restore our status being in implied status? If we can do it, when do we have to stop working? Thanks in advance, I really hope someone can help or tell me about their similar experiences getting rejected or refused.
