Good day!

I am on a visitor visa, arrived in Canada last Aug17,2009.. I already applied for visa extension, so I am on implied status..
I already received an LMO for a Live-In Caregver and had undergone medical check up from a DMP..
My question is,
-can I apply in Buffalo for the live-in caregiver program while on an implied status??
-or can I apply at the border for a live-in caregiver program while on implied status??
-or do I have to wait for the reply then I can apply?

also, if I might be denied an extension for my stay here.. will that be a count as a removal order or just a refusal?

I am so desperate.. I do not know what to do...
please give me your advises... any help is very much appreciated.. PLEASE!!!!

You can send your application together with the proof that you sent app to extend your visit.

If you don't need a TRV to enter Canada, but you may not be under the LCP as the guidelines say apply for WP outside Canada.

You can wait for the VR/refusal, if you wish. If you got a VR then apply to the US; if refusal, apply to your home country.

refusal :)

Normally, the medical instructions would come from the visa/consulate office where you sent your application but if you had it done and it is done by a DMP then I don't see any harm in sending it with your application package. And if the medicals done were not acceptable then they send the necessary instructions.

Thank you for the advise..

so which will I check on future applications?

_Have you ever been
refused a temporary
resident visa to travel to
Canada?

OR

_Were you ever removed
from Canada or any other
country?

If you have been any of those then check whichever was but if on account of your applying for an extension and you have received neither a positive nor negative response then don't check anything. Send a copy of the receipt you paid when you sent your application for extension with you application for work permit to prove you are on implied status.

My mum did a similar application... visit extension then applied for work visa through seattle office...

They rejected her visit extension and a week later Seattle rejected her work permit application....

Then again... she had been extending her visit for a long time now...

how many times have u renewed ur visit?

What do you mean "she had been extending her visit for a long time now"?

she kept extending her visitor record for nearly 3 yrs... so they finally refused it...
