Impact on PGWP for Taking a Leave of Absence

Hi there,
I am having a depression and anxiety problem that severely impacts my ability to continue my study, and I obtained a doctor verification proving my mental illness. My doctor suggests me to take some time off from study to seek mental therapy and recovery. Thus, I plan to take a leave from study for 1 semester. I am just wondering how it will affect my PGWP eligibility. Thanks!

Thanks for replying. I have actually read through every single word of the page. I just wasn't sure if my case is considered to be a legit authorized leave, and what kind of medical proof will be needed.
I was also wondering if there is anyone who has taken a Leave of Absence for similar reasons successfully receive their PGWP.
