Impact of third person on Sponsorship Application

Hi Guys!!

I have a general question about sponsorship Application. I know someone whose getting married to a girl in his back-home. In sponsorship Application forms the information of siblings of the spouse have to be added. The problem is that the girl's brother has a criminal record. My question is, even though it's only the girl (spouse) that is being sponsored, would the criminal record of her brother impact her sponsorship application? And if it would? what is the solution?

Any help would be appreciated :)

1. Has no impact on her spousal application.
