When i was born my folks set me up with a dual citizenship. US/Canadian. Like many others i am weighing the option of going (back) to Canada. With the DS do i just kind of show up at the border and yay im home! Or is there more to it?

:D

What does DS means? ???
Looks like somebody being clever with a TYPO DS=Dual Sitizenship !

Lot more than just turning up at the border see here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/

You need something to prove you are Canadian. If your parents made sure you got a passport, you are all set. If they didn't but you were born in Canada, you have your birth certificate and for most people, that is proof enough and you can apply for a passport. If you were not born in Canada but you have a citizenship certificate, you are good.

Now, in order to work in Canada, you need a SIN (like the US SSN). If your parents applied for a SIN for you at some point, you can use it but it would have been set to dormant status and you would need to apply for it to be reactivated. If your parents did not apply for your SIN, you need to apply for one yourself at Service Canada.

You also need to apply for health care in the province where you settle down.

After that, you can say you are home.
