immigration visa status pl help!

hi there
I'm so confused about my visa application status. I have submitted my passport to delhi office in March 2013 and since then no updates! I'm trying to email but never get an answer. how do i check my visa progress, if any? pleas help me.

little more about my application. my husband applied for a spouse visa (PR) in 08/2012 and visa status online shows that they have received an application in 11/2013. After that I was asked to send a passport to new Delhi office in 03/2013. since then I'm waiting for my passport and now it's almost 7 months and there is no reply from New Delhi office. Where should I contact? pleas help me!

ND always requests the passport at the very beginning of the process and holds on to it for the whole time. As you are still within the processing time of 11 months, you shouldn't be worried about not hearing anything yet.

I'm guessing you are just emailing the general email for the office? Try sending a Case Specific Enquiry, CSE. Go here https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi

Though most VOs do respond to CSEs, they may not answer because you are still within the processing time.
