Immigration Visa same day

Hi All,

I am in Canada and have received a request from the Immigration section to send the passport. My question is: Is it possible to receive the immigration visa on the same day, if I go in person.

If not ,what are other options that I can use to send my passport to India.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
