Hi I am new here.

i will be getting married soon and my husband and i want to apply for an immigration to Canada through the skilled worked programme.

we are both external auditors in KPMG and we could possibly get a job in KPMG canada but not until we complete certain criteria.

my question is how do i begin the process? i understand we need to get our IELTs exam done, and submit our marriage certificate, get an education equivalency for our degrees and provide copies of our passports and other identification documents. is that right?

how do we request an equivalency for our transcripts/degrees

where do we send these documents?

thank you!

The process would depend on the immigration stream you choose. If you use express entry you would need enough CRS points. CRS points depend on a number of factors including IELTS and degree equivalency. You can get your degree assessed by WES Canada or other evaluating agencies. If you do a inter company transfer KPMG you can avail work permit and use it to obtain immigration. The process that route would be different.

thank you so much for the information you provided.

i went through the website and i would like to clarify something about the language skills. i classify under NOC category A. The website mentions that the minimum requirement for NOC A or 0 is CLB 7. what does CLB 7 mean? i plan to do the IELTS, what CLB classification is the IELTS?

Thanks again :)
