hi guys i need some help
there used to be a question in paper based application (im not sure if its still there in online version)
"Have you, or, if you are principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever, been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa including CSQ or application to the PNP or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?"

I answered this question as "No" because i assumed that it is asking for principle applicant, spouse and dependent kids who are included in PR application and it does not include parents and siblings.
My father was refused assylum in 2008 in Canada, now i want to apply for his super visa. Im not sure if i answered that correctly at that time and if it can result in any problem.
I would really appreciate if any one can help on this.
Thank you all

Your father wasn't a dependent in your application. This question applied to you / your dependents when you were applying for PR.

When you submit the super visa application, you must answer "yes" and provide the full details of this history. Make sure you also mention any other refusals to any other countries. He will most likely need an ARC to return to Canada.
