Hi, unfortunately immigration for Quebec is now closed until march 2015 when we will have news about new procedures, the 6500 caps were reached today. The same goes for entrepeneurs and self employers

Here is the official link: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/maximum-swp.html

Self employers: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/maximum-eswp.html

Some of us will receive AOR or all the file back Sad good luck to all

But you have to make sure this sentence.!
----------------------------------------------------

The attainment of the maximum number of applications does not apply to you if:

you submit an application under the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (Québec experience program);
you have a valid employment offer in hand;
Citizenship and Immigration Canada has informed you that it has agreed to process your application for permanent residence in Canada;
you are a temporary resident and eligible to submit an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec.

and what about Proficiency in French Language?

Hi.
Is there any way of knowing if the application I submitted was included in the 6,500 cap?
I called Montreal yesterday and they verified that they have received my documents last June 2014.
Though, I haven't received an acknowledgement letter yet.
I would like to know if the 6,500 they are referring to is the applications they received, or reviewed already?
Thank you.

Hey guys, I was not able to apply in time before the cap closed. I am living in Montreal since 4 years. I did Masters from McGill university and I am currently working in Montreal on a Post Graduate Work permit since 13 Months.
Am I considered a "temporary resident eligible to apply for CSQ" ? and does that mean the cap doesn't apply to me?

Please help :(

Thank you
