When I had my medical done, my DMP told me to bring the immigration photos with me. He took 3 of them and mailed them to the immigration office with the medical, and gave one back to me attached to a form saying that I'd done the medical.

I sent that form in with my app, but didn't take a new set of photos to mail in. Was this what I was supposed to do?

You're also supposed to include a number of other pics besides the ones for the medical. It's 8 or 9 depending on where you are. Do you mean you didn't send any other pictures besides the one attached to the medical form?

Correct.

My DMP told me that I was supposed to give the pics to them, not send them with the application, so this is what I did. How can I correct it now?

There is a different set of specific photos that you have to send with your application. You could find that in Appendix B of Part 3: The region specific forms. As far as i know, those pictures that you took with you to DMP are only related to medical file... and ones that you sent with your application are the one that they need at VO for PR and other stuff.

Agreed. Pictures are needed for the medical as well as your application

So how do I fix it now?

Did you apply inland or outland?

Outland.

I haven't been able to log into ecas to check anything yet though. :<

Since you apply outland, I would wait until Mississauga has finished working with the file and it has been transferred to the country visa office. By this time you should also have your file ID. Once you have your ID, sent the additional photos to the visa office with your ID indicated.

Wait for mississauga to give you an answer 1st. Once an officer open ur file, he might want to see those photos in your file before he sends to your visa office. In that case, you will be contacted by email or mail saying what you are missing and you can send them. If they don't care about those photos and you are approved as sponsor, you will get a file/application number. Now you should mail your visa office your pictures and make sure to write a cover letter explaining what you have attached along with ur file# and UCI # so it's easier for them to recognize you in their system.
