Hi everyone!

So I'm applying Outland from Vancouver BC to Seattle ....just got the immigration photos done for my hubby....BUT...was confused as to whether to send him back to Seattle tomorrow with all four of the photos for the medical exam or not?? How many do they require for that part , and where else in the application do they require the rest (if not all are required for the medical) ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I guess you mean from Seattle to Vancouver, not the other way round ! :-)

He can do the medicals in Canada, it doesn't matter... so best would be to call in advance and see how many pictures the DMP requires, just to make sure you have enough... my DMP required 3 pictures, but some only 2, some more... so call ahead ( in Vancouver if you want to have the medicals in Vancouver, or in Seattle - it doesn't matter as long as the DMP is on CIC list).

Then - it's 4 additional pictures that need to be submitted with the application for outland applicants... it doesn't matter that the set of pictures used for the medicals, and the ones for the application are not from the same batch - what is important is that the immigration pictures ( for the application) are all the same.
Good luck,

Hi! Thanks for the speedy reply. Ok so we only got 4 done because that's how many it said on the thing to do. So you're saying we need 4 for the application, and more (depending on doctor) for the physical? So should have gotten 8 to be safe?

yes - you need more. 4 ( or more depending on your guideline, for London VO it was 8...) is for the application itself (one for the PR card, one for the COPR itself, and the others I'm not sure - internal CIC procedures I'm not familiar with!), and then you need to get more for the medicals - and that depends on the doctor. Call ahead and ask what they need. But the good news is - they don't need to be the same ( I had 8 for my application done one day, and another day I had the ones for the medicals, and that was no problem )
Good luck,
