Immigration Officers - main duties

Hi guys,

Currently working in this field overseas. In the occupation list, it states that you must have experience determining admissibility for entry into Canada. Unsure whether this means I should actually be working in Canada, or I should replace Canada with wherever I am residing?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.
