Immigration Office Selection based on Residency Status to Expire in about a year

Hello Forum Members,

Overview: I am in a process to send out my application. I am an Indian Citizen, working in the US. My Work Visa is set to expire on 15th Oct 2015. I am planning to send out my application by 10th October 2014, before I enter my last year on work permit. I am waiting on WES. Since, I am in the US, I intend to send my application to "Case Processing Centre: Ottawa, Ontario".

Question: Since I am about to enter into my last year of work visa or the last year of residency, is it okay, if I send the application to "Case Processing Centre: Ottawa, Ontario"?
