Hello. I married to a Canadian man and Im a filipino.
We hire lawyers in Canada to help us in our processing of papers.
I already got all documents except for medical.
THe lawyer send me appendix C. she said take it to the doctor with me?
Should I start my medical now? i get confused.
And one thing i never try any medical chek ups. thats why a little scared.
hope everything is going to be fine. I Hope god bless me..

your medical is valid for a year..when my husband & I applied for permanent visa (Jamaica) the medical & police check had to be included and submitted with the application. The police check has to be within the last 3 months prior to applying for the visa. It also helps paying your fees upfront...can reduce the waiting time by a couple of months.

no need to worry about the medicals, it's quite "straightforward" - some questions asked, a medical examination, blood and urine test + x-ray. But nothing really "scary" - and in a way, it's always good to get a medical check up to see if everything is fine.
As a spouse, you need to have a medical exam, but if you have some diseases, it will not disqualify you - they might ask for extra tests etc, but it's not a condition for immigration ( as for other categories).
Don't worry - it'll go well!
