Hello All,
I want to immigrate from Pakistan along with my wife and two children. Currently my points if I include my wife qualification and IELTS results are 411. How much chance do I have if i submit EOI. Secondly, someone has told me to come on SOWP if my wife gets admission in Ph.D programe and secure a job to increase my points. Is that possible?

Around 460 points is needed right now, so you have no chance at 411. You could look at PNP.

If your wife comes to Canada as a student, you could apply for an OWP. No guarantee of approval.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Can you brief me about the SOWP timeline. Does my wife have to land in Canada before I apply for SOWP or can I start the process right after she is issued a student VISA?
