Hello,

I am being sponsored by my Canadian husband, and we are applying for PRV outside Canada. After we got married two years ago, I left my country to live with him (brought my stuffs and moved to live with him, not temporary visit/stay). I lived with my husband in India for a month (I held a tourist visa at that time). Then, we left India for Canada for 5 months (I held a tourist visa at that time) before we relocated in Australia, where we have been currently living together (we both have business visas).

Since I have been left my country for two years, I have been moving and living with my husband until now. My question is I am not sure if my stays in India and Canada are called " Living or Visiting" while holding the tourist visas. I have read the threads here, some said "visiting", some said "living". The thing is we have been living together since we got married. If I have to put the dates of my stays in India and Canada as visitor/temporary visits as previous threads because of holding tourists visas then, how could I tell IO that we have been living since we got married? I am afraid that IO might think/consider that we had just lived together only in Australia which is untrue. Would you please advise if I have to write the additional documents? If yes, would you please advise what details I should include and they are not contrast of the dates written on the application form

Would you please tell me if I have to sign my signature and date on all additional sheet of papers and photocopies of other identiy and civil documents?

Thank you for your reply

Regards,

Hi,

As you have to give the details of your where abouts in Form IMM0008E- Sch.1 -(Background /Declaration) -sections 9,11 & 18, you can show in the activity column that you were with husband on visit visa/business visa. If the space provided is not enough to show it in brief, add additional sheets to the form. Explain briefly in the additional sheets.

Hi Wilson,

I looked at the form, I think you mean Q 11 -Personal History & Q15- Address? If yes, my question is there are no columns where I can mention/write business/tourist visas. Do you mean I have to add another column or just fit them to the "Activity" column for Q11?

On Q15, there is no way to allow me to put visa type in there as the form asks only DOB, address, city town, province and country. Do you mean I have to add more column in another additional paper?

Thank you for your reply

Hi,

Q-11 : activity : with husband on visit visa ; City ------, India ; Name of ------------- ; No need for another column.

Q 15 ; only address : No need to explain visa status; no need another column.
