Hi..
I became a PR of Canada in Oct 2007. I landed in Canada and came back to US because I had a job over here.
After few months of getting PR, I got married and now baby is on the way. I'm interested in moving to Canada for good. I know that my immigration status will expire in Oct 2010 so have to move before that.
I have question regarding the immigration procedure that I should follow for my wife and my forthcoming baby. I'm on H1(Temp worker) status in US and my wife is on H4(dependent)visa. The baby will be born here so he/she will be a US citizen. I'm trying to find a best way to file for immigration for both of them. My wife has a 2 yr visitor visa for Canada right now.
Some people have told me that I can file for baby in Humanitarian category but I will have to file for my wife in Spouse category?
Please advise and help me sort out this situation.
Thanks in advance.
