Hello all,

I know there are many very knowledgable people in this forum when it comes to immigration, requirements, scores etc. However, I would like to talk someone in person due to recent introduction of EE and make sure I understand all requirements, details before submitting the documents.

My current situation is that I am a PGWP holder (so no LMIA) with 7 month of work experience and I'm planning to apply for PR under CEC in November.
I want to see how my current employer can obtain LMIA and what this process entails.

If you had any good experiences with immigration consultants (preferably located in Toronto), I would greatly appreciate if you pass their contact info to me!

Thank you!

I have no knowledge in the Toronto area as I am in BC, but I'll share my limited but recent experience. We are in the process of EE, and have received ITA, but as it can be confusing we had some questions. We reached out to a couple of the immigration lawyers near us and they said they would not help us because we are too far into the process. They wouldn't even meet for a 1 hour consult to answer questions or anything.

Was really frustrated, as when we phone CIC they say "No can't help you, we aren't trained in EE, call a lawyer" and when we call a lawyer they told us that unless we wanted to start over and pay them for the entire process then they wouldn't even answer a question.

Bleh :'(
