Hello, I would be grateful for some advice ....
My husband and I are considering applying to immigrate to Nova Scotia, but are unsure how to proceed or which category or program applies to us.
Our current situation is as follows :
We are both UK nationals, aged 47 and 51, and for the last 11 years have been successful owner-managers of a holiday (caravan & camping) park resort-type business, with all the skills that involves.
Our intention would be to sell our business in the UK and with the proceeds move to Canada and buy a similar business there, which we would operate ourselves.
We anticipate coming to Canada with around 900,000 Canadian dollars to live on initially and buy an established business.
Our first language is English, I have a very basic (high school) knowledge of French.
I have a 3 year university degree (BA), my husband has completed secondary school.
I would be very appreciative of any advice as to how we might proceed with an immigration application, and whether we would be likely to succeed :)
Thanks everyone!

I would recommend that you read up on the Start Up visa program:
