Hi all,

I hope to get some help here. I am a single male in my early 20's looking to immigrate to Canada from South Africa.

Does anyone have any suggestions about the process of applying and areas to consider staying?

Also what is the cost of living, ie food, rent etc monthly as an estimate?

Thanks in advance

Details about Canada's immigration programs and the application criteria can be found here:

Thank you, scylla. I have been to this site and will look at it more closely.

Do you know if Cisco netoworking jobs are in high demand in Canada by any chance?

Here is a list of job openings Canada wide:

Hi.

Not sure if you are Afrikaans or English. Welkom op die land van sneeu en koue.

I took a chance and just send my resume to many companies as a long haul truck driver. And one of the companies sponsored me to come over.

Best way to go.I would say is with a nominee program.pick a job you like.see if it is a demand job under Canada immigration program. Go on kijij and search for jobs and send your resume and hope for the best.
