I just came back with my spouse who took the photos but we didn't read the instructions thoroughly and missed the part where it says ' the length of chin to crown max.30mm'. Our's came out 33 mm :-[

Now I know there's no point in asking because that's what the instruction says but with the slightest hope of saving us another 30 dollars I'm going to ask....that won't be acceptable right?

Definitely not! Im sorry but you will have to take them out again. They are very very clear about the requirements and specifications. Wish I could give you the answer you were looking for...

If the photo size is not exact it could not be fitting for electronic copying to the CIC system files.

You could try, but I'm thinking 3 mm is too big of a difference from the prescribed measurement.

Did you show them the specs sheet at the photo center and they still didn't adhere to the sizing requirements and you didn't notice until after you paid and left the shop? Because if I were you I'd go back in there and say that you should have it redone for free, seeing as you already paid them and they failed to produce the size you clearly indicated.....if you did show them the specs sheet and you can prove it, that is.

On the other hand, $30, although not pocket change, is what in the grand scheme of things? That's about how much I paid for fingerprints the first time I took them and even though the guy made two sets and frowned on the quality of both, I still sent them to the FBI (which couldn't read them, no, so I went to go pay another place but only after they took a sample set of prints and told me to use a special cream for a week before coming back).

Anyway.....Let us know how it turns out and good luck.

I wish that was the case but it was just me being stupid! You're right $30 is definitely not much compared to the grand scheme so not that upset about it....what I'm most upset about is how stupid I was haha ::)
