I need to complete my PR application in two days. After I received bank statement from my bank I learned as my friend's name is there my PR application may get rejected. I put her name before leaving. Canada in 2015, this account was opened by me in 2012. Is there any supporting paper I can submit to prove that I have complete access to all these money? It is not her money. Please help!!!!

Looks like this is not something everyone would have an answer for. Maybe you can try contacting CIC and ask them abt this.

I am applying under CEC, CIC website help page says CEC applicants do not need to provide proof of fund.
Hope this is true.

Hi,

Apparently you need to show proof of funds as long as you don't have a valid job offer in Canada. A valid job offer is a proof of funds by itlself. A few of my friends who were filing their PR had to show proof of funds though they had Canadian work experience as they don't have a valid job offer.

In my opinion is better to not take chances with CIC. Officers who make decision have enough applications everyday to confuse them already.

Hope this answers.

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."
