Hello - For the immediate family members section, my spouse's father is deceased, but the passport does not say "Late" in front of his name. Do we need to add this in LOE? Will they ask for a death certificate at any time? (since it happened 25 years ago, we would not have one available).
Looking for your guidance @legalfalcon

"Late" is not a legal terminology or entered in passports as it is not a legal title.

You do not need to include any LoE. However, in the application, where you list the immediate family members, you will have to list the date of birth and if they are deceased, the same has to be listed.

Absolutely. Thank you so much for clarifying.
