IMM5707E - to sign or not to sign?

Done a search but couldn't find a definitive answer...

When completing and submitting IMM5707E online... Do you still have to sign the form? If so do you sign online via the Adobe program OR print the form, sign it and scan it back to yourself to upload to my CIC? Or do nothing in the signature spaces and the "online signing" at the end covers it all?

I read the guideline on CIC website that states you sign your application at the end by answering a security question but does this cover all forms? Or do you still have to sign the forms individually?

Brain fart moment.. Ive done a few applications online but i cant remember what i did and my USB with my saved forms is elsewhere!

Signing is optional.

If you decide to do it then print, sign, scan, upload.

Only IMM5257 (the main application form) is signed electronically, the rest of the forms, need to be signed.
