IMM5662 not sent

I am new here , I just joined the forum
My husband is from Toronto(Native Malagasy), and I'm from Madagascar
we sent our application in October. on December 14th, My husband (the sponsor) received a mail from CIC to send some documents ( Passport size photographs and the copy of our marriage certificate that we already sent before, they lost it maybe).
We submitted all the requested documents on december 27th. (I guess we have to wait another 2 months for the end of the first step).
My question is : I didnt send the IMM 5662 form when I sent the application, never traveled before ( but they didnt notice it, cause they only asked us to send the above documents), Will that affect the application?

If they need it, they will request it. But if you are prompt, it shouldn't delay it too much. Since they already noticed that other documents were needed and requested them Ithink you are ok.
