Need your help.

In the IMM5540E, question 8: Have you resided in countries other than Canada?

Could I provide the country I resided before I came to Canada?

Is the vocation (2 weeks) in my hometown my residency while I living in Canada? (When I living in Canada, I usually came back my home country once a year, could I provide this period of residency in my home country?

This question should include places you lived before you came to Canada. However, it does not include places you went on vacation for short periods. That is, if you went on vacation for two weeks, your residency is still in Canada - your house or apartment stays the same, etc. Now if you went traveling for 6 months, I would include that.
