Hi Question!
I'm a sponsor (sponsoring my husband), I'm trying to fill out IMM5532. Under Part A for employment, do I add my Maternity Benefits from the Canadian government in one of the rows? I'm on maternity leave with my company for the year, and my company still considers me an employee in the meantime, do I also write down in this section as well?
So, what I have currently in Part A, I put down my Employment Insurance dates: 2020-07 to 2021-07, for Employer I put down "Employment Insurance from Government of Canada", under Occupation/Position I put "Maternity Benefits", and then I wrote down my monthly gross that I would receive for EI.
Then on the row below I also put down the dates of my maternity leave, my employer, but under Occupation/Position I put "Maternity Leave", and for monthly gross income I put $0 (not getting paid from company).
Is this correct? Or should I take this out?
