IMM5490 question 28

Hey,
So I am currently doing the application to be sponsored by my partner. In the sponsored Partner questionnaire, question 28 asks if I am currently living with my sponsor. "If no - when did your sponsor return to Canada".
We were actually living together in Canada, and then I had to leave to come back to Australia.
The question only has space for a date.
What do I put if I was the one who left Canada, rather than him leaving and 'returning' to Canada.

Since it's an outland application, they're automatically assuming that if you lived together, it was outside of Canada.

I would put N/A in the date and attach a sheet explaining. Someone else might have better advice though!

Put N/A or the date that you were last together and explain on a separate sheet.
