IMM1344 copy or original?

I've been reading here that we are supposed to send the copy of this forms? (the undertaking). I haven't been able to find this requirement anywhere on the instruction manuals and the checklist. It just says that since it's an important document, we need to keep a copy for ourselves. What am I missing?

It is actually a contract between the sponsor and the applicant, so CIC wants you to keep the original. Send them a copy.
