IMM1344, advantages of proceed with application for permanent residence.

Hi Forum,

I am filling in form number IMM1344 and very first question in there is:

“If you are found ineligible to sponsor indicate whether you to” and then there is two options. First to get a refund and second to continue processing PR application. After reading guide on CIC website I am all for going with second option.

I would like to know your opinion about advantages of “Proceed with the application for permanent residence. Processing fees will be retained"?
