An update , my wife received her 1 year multiple entry visa, 15 business days after submitting the paper application at New Delhi ( Late February 2016)
She ( September 2015 applicant) is currently being sponsored by me . Upfront medicals for the spousal was valid till July 2016, even then they sent her the IMM1017 request 7 business days after receipt of application.
Now she has a second medical valid till march 2017. Hopefully , she wont have to do a re medical for the spousal application.
