Hey guys, I was in a previous relationship with my ex-common-law partner. We lived together for 1 year but never applied for any applications to CIC. In the application form do i have to put the old address where we used to live together or my ex-partners current address because she moved back overseas.

Also, we've never shared anything except living at the same address and changed our status with CRA. Therefore, should I even put it down on the application?

I believe it's the address where you used to live together.

Yes, just admit you have an ex-common-law partner. You don't need to prove this previous relationship was genuine, you just have to put your former partner's name on the forms, your address when you two lived together, and her address now. If you don't know what it is, just attach a letter of explanation.

Only on the IMM5540E form does it ask for address. It does ask about previous common-law/marriage on the IMM1344E, but it doesnt need an address for that form, so do I put the old address when we lived together? or her current address overseas? Cus theres only 1 form asking for an address.

Also, what should i piut for the date for when it started and ended?

I would put her current address on form 5540. I would put one year after the day you moved in together as the date the common-law relationship started, and the day one of you moved out as the day it ended. (For common-law, CIC states that this status starts after one year of living together.) However, if you only lived together for one year, it would be odd to say the relationship lasted for only a few days, in which case I would attach a letter of explanation.
