IMM 5532 - Question # 3 - Living together or not

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding IMM 5532 where it's asking us if we are currently living together.

We are living together right now, and we have been for the past 6 months. She's going back to Colombia because her visa expired and we're gonna send the application from outland. Should we answer that we're living together or not? We have a lease under both our names.

Hi

Yes, you can state you are living together. If she leaves Canada, she will need to update IRCC with her new address.

As she is still within 90 days of status expiration, she could apply for Restoration of her visitor status. With proof of the PR app and proof of finances, it could be approved.
