hello..everyone.i need help for this question # 7 in IMM5490 spousal questionnaire.(prior to your spousal
/common-law/conjugal partner relationship, was your sponsor or any of your sponsors family members
related to you or any member of your family?) im so confused.. i cant get the question..pls help.tnx.

Its asking about consanguinuity in the romantic relationship. ie: are you related in any way to your partner or his/her family by blood.

If you married your cousin, you answer 'yes' and explain. They also want to know if any of your relatives are married to your spouse's relatives. It is not necessarily bad, but they will want more information. Sometimes two brothers are married to two sisters, which is OK.
In one type of marriage immigration fraud, two families who both have some members already in Canada will 'swap' weddings: the son of Family A agrees to marry the cousin of Family B, if the daughter of Family B will agree to marry the nephew of Family A, or whatever.

thanks canadianwoman and MD2B,its a big help to me.is there something like that happens? wow
i cant believe it.god bless to anyone....
