IMM 3907 - Military question

On form IMM3907 they ask to explain why i have not served in the militia, army, defence or police unit ?? What should I say here? would it be okay to say that i was not interested in that field??

The full question is Did you serve in any militia, army, defence, or police unit (including obligatory national service, reserve or volunteer units)?

If you come from a country with obligatory national service, you need a reason for not having completed it. If you don't, simply saying military service is not required and you didn't want to do it is fine.
