imm 3904.....small question...need help..pls

somehow...cic has managed to confuse the people who are filling out the forms....to some extent..

IMM 3904

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM - DELHI
To be completed by ALL applicants aged 18 years or older

Name: ________________________________ File #: _____________________ Date: _______________

What is File # ??? we do not have any file #...
So are we suppose just wriite our name...date and leave the File # _________ blank??

Usually when something is for official use..CIC puts it in BOLD...OFFICIAL USE...so this really confuses me!..

One of my forms had a box for a file number as well. I did not have a file number at that point so I left it blank.

So far so good for my application.

I am sure you will get other replies though with more information.

Just leave it blank and fill the other details...

for your initial application just leave it blank.

sometimes they re-request these documents from the applicants, when the form might have changed or something wasn't filled in on the form, etc. by that time you have a file # so you can fill that in, so that when it arrives at the embassy they can match it to your regular file right away.
