Hey guys, I just came back from the multicultural association in my city and they got me a bit confused.
I was about to send in the application when they asked me change a few things.
So.. if you are found ineligible to sponsor, should I indicate: withdraw application or proceed with application?
She made me think that CIC might believe it's a "real thing" if I choose to withdraw it.
Another thing she told me is that all forms must be unstapled, is that true?

Thanks

IDK about 1st question much
But for 2nd one, use paper clips only

Nothing to do with it being "the real thing". If you are found ineligible and choose to proceed, they will still refuse your application and keep the money you paid. If you choose to withdraw, you may get a refund on the fees you paid.

Thank you both of you =D

I had no idea and stapled all the forms.

Can that really be an issue? Anything I can do about it now?

The online guide says that you shouldn't staple the forms, probably because they have to scan all the documents and removing the staples would be a pain in the ass. I doubt it will be an issue though, you'll just give them some extra work to do. I'm pretty sure they can handle a few staples :P

your application is not going to be returned because you stapled your application papers. relax, stop finding things you think are "wrong" that really aren't and finding reasons why your application will be rejected. you will have a much better process if you put your focus on being with your spouse and getting approved.

I'm still hoping they will send my package back because of some outdated forms or whatever, and I'll be able to apply outland.. I know I caN withdraw my application but I don't have all necessary copies - my own fault I know I know
