I have contacted many departments in the postal office head office and contacted the visa help line but no one can answer my question and hope maybe you can help, on the CIC WEBSITE guide for spouse visa form (IMM 1344) the instructions for entering your residential address states a street number is mandatory but my address has no street number without putting something in this box the form can not be validated (I have a compartment number, my residential address is in the country not city or town so we have no street number or name)
Please can you help or put me in the right direction to who can answer this for me, I don't want to make a mistake and have the forms rejected. My wife's address is in Prince Albert and they have a compartment number and rural route number but no street number or PO BOX. Also my address is a U.K address and in England we have no street number as well.
Many many thanks

I would just put 0 in the street number to allow the form to validate, and then just add a note on a separate paper explaining what is your address and why you put 0 ( to validate), so they understand. it shouldn't be a problem, I'm sure you're not the first one.
GOod luck,
Sweden

Thanks a lot, makes sense just needed to get it right the first time, if any one has had the same problem please also do advise.

We had no street number in the UK, just the building name. We put the number 1, then just explained on a separate sheet that many buildings in the UK don't have street numbers. As long as you explain it, it's fine.

I just attached a separate sheet and explained that my house had no number and was not on a named street, as was typical in that area.
