Imcomplete PhD in education history

I recently got ITA based on Canadian Masters degree. After Masters I pursued PhD for 8 months then I quit it. Should I put PhD as "incomplete" in education history or just in personal history ?

Personal history should be fine.

PhD semesters gonna show up in my transcript so I might as well show it in educational history and mark as incomplete. I will attach an explanation letter stating that I quit PhD once I got permanent job offer. It's better to lay everything out there to clear any confusion.
